No living being can live without water. Whether you drink it, bathe in it, or wash your hands, water is crucial to life.
It is a major component of the Earth’s surface and atmosphere that covers 71% of Earth’s surface.
Therefore, be it directly or indirectly, water affects all aspects of life.
The direct effect would be no vegetation on land, no oxygen, and no atmospheric conditions favorable for living beings. This earth would look entirely different than it is today if there was no water.
Similarly, water is required not only by the living beings; all the non-living things also depend on or need water resources in their composition or construction.
Think of a newly constructed building. Can you imagine it being constructed without water? Or can the clothes be cleaned on their own without water?
The absence of this single element water can make our life miserable, if we do not control how much water we use in our daily lives. Our lives will drastically change in the near future, especially when there will be no water to spare.
From a crawling ant to the flying spectacles in the sky, everyone and everything needs water to regulate its temperature, remove wastes from the body, maintain hygiene and perform normal functioning.
Within a few days without water, people or living beings will become very ill and eventually die as our bodies continually lose water through breathing, urination, and perspiration. Without a sufficient amount of water, the body will shut down regardless of whoever it is.
Now that’s about direct impact of water on the consumers.
Think of manufacturing and production of goods, electricity, Food & Crops. Can they be maintained and sustained without water?
