Here are some great, effective and time-tested solutions, which we all can apply and contribute to our environment and save one of the most precious natural resources “WATER”.
Here are some sector specific solutions for water conservation.
Residentials
- Fixing the leaky faucets
- Using controlled flushing for toilets.
- Using normal shower instead of luxurious wares like bath tubs and shower heads.
- Intermittent use of tap water while shaving or washing utensils.
- No food wastage please – We must not forget that growing 1 gram rice require more than 4 liters of water.
- Not to go for borewells if municipal water is available.
